A leaking or cracked tank isn't the end of it. Most tanks — concrete, plastic, or steel — can be repaired properly and go on serving you for another decade. We assess it honestly, fix it right, and back our work.
Repairing a concrete tank is nothing like fixing a plastic one, and steel repair is a trade of its own. Our technicians are trained specifically on all three. Pick your tank type below.
We inject epoxy resin or polyurethane foam into fine cracks to seal them from the inside out — stopping water loss without disturbing the structure.
For larger structural cracks and actively leaking joints, hydraulic cement sets even underwater — plugging leaks fast before a full render is applied.
Full interior re-rendering with a food-safe, KEBS-compliant waterproof compound. Restores the tank lining and prevents future seepage.
When concrete is too far gone for patching, fibreglass relining gives the tank a completely new interior — extending service life by 20+ years.
Inlet, outlet, overflow pipes, and manhole covers — we replace deteriorated fittings to prevent contamination and restore full functionality.
Common warning signs
For polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene tanks, we use heat welding to fuse cracks and splits — creating a bond as strong as the original material.
Specialised plastic-compatible adhesive patches for smaller cracks and punctures. Applied dry and cured before the tank is refilled.
Sun exposure makes plastic brittle and causes chalking, warping, and micro-fractures. We treat UV-damaged sections and apply a protective coating.
Rubber seals, inlet/outlet fittings, ball valves, and overflow connectors — all wear out before the tank itself. We replace them to stop leaks at source.
Stripped threaded fittings cause persistent leaks around inlets. We re-tap, re-thread, or replace the fitting entirely depending on the damage.
Common warning signs
Mechanical grinding, wire brushing, and chemical rust converter to eliminate active corrosion before any coating is applied. We don't paint over rust.
Perforated or thinned steel sections are cut out and replaced with welded patches — restoring structural integrity and stopping leaks permanently.
Food-safe, water-approved epoxy lining applied to the full interior. Prevents future rusting and stops metallic contamination of your stored water.
For heavily corroded tanks, fibreglass relining bypasses the steel entirely — creating a new, rust-proof interior surface with a 20+ year lifespan.
Welded seams and bolted joints are common weak points in steel tanks. We inspect, grind back, and re-seal every joint as part of a full repair.
Common warning signs
Not every tank problem is a crisis. Some are urgent, some can wait a week. Here's what we commonly find when we assess tanks across Kenya — and what each one means for you.
Water visibly escaping from the tank body, seams, or fittings. You're losing water every hour and the moisture is likely causing secondary damage to surroundings.
Fix ImmediatelySurface cracks may look cosmetic but often run deeper. Hidden cracks are found during pressure assessment. Both cause slow water loss and contamination risk.
Fix SoonIron oxide particles enter your water supply, affecting taste and potentially causing health effects over time. Exterior rust means interior corrosion is already worse.
Fix SoonWorn rubber seals, cracked pipe collars, and loose ball valves are the most common cause of tank leaks — and the cheapest to fix when caught early.
Fix Within a MonthPlastic tanks exposed to the sun without shade become brittle and crack. The damage is gradual but cumulative — eventually causing structural failure.
Monitor & TreatTanks on poorly compacted ground can shift and crack as soil settles. This is most common with large concrete tanks — foundation assessment is part of our repair.
Assess FirstWe'd rather tell you the truth than take your money for a repair that won't last. Here's how we think about the repair vs. replace decision.
We assess every tank honestly and tell you which side of this line you're on — before we quote anything.
We come to you, inspect the tank, tell you exactly what's wrong and what it costs — before you commit to anything.
Concrete, plastic, and steel each require different tools, materials, and techniques. Our team is trained on all three — not generalists guessing.
Every compound, coating, and sealant we use is cleared for contact with potable water. No industrial shortcuts that contaminate your supply.
We stand behind our work. If a repair fails within the warranty period, we come back and fix it. No arguments, no extra charges.
50+ towns across Kenya. We travel to you — Nairobi, upcountry, coast, wherever your tank is. Call us to confirm your area.
Every repair starts with an honest look at the problem. No guessing over the phone, no inflated quotes, no surprises on the day.
Tell us where you are, what type of tank you have, and what you're seeing. We'll confirm a site visit within 24–48 hours.
Our technician inspects the tank in person — checking the structure, identifying the root cause, and ruling out issues you can't see from the outside.
We give you a clear, itemised quote and explain what we're doing and why. You decide whether to go ahead — zero obligation.
Tank is drained, dried, and repaired using the right method for your tank type. We keep you informed throughout the job.
We pressure test or water-fill the tank to confirm the repair holds before we leave. You get a written repair report and warranty documentation.
Tank repair is site work — you can't bring the tank to us. That's why we travel. We cover 50+ towns and are expanding. Call us if your area isn't listed.
